Brooke Bassuk Interior Designer (BBID)
Brooke Bassuk is passionate for design; a love developed early on, and that has shaped her life. Brooke was brought up around residential construction, her father owned his own construction business for over 30 years. She also had an amazing grandmother with whom she would go shopping & antiquing almost every weekend. This continued to bring forth Brooke’s love with the design world. When Brooke was only 11-years old, she produced a fully-completed blueprint of a single family, one story residential home, taking first place in a design competition. For Brooke, that sealed the deal! She knew she was born to design.
Brooke completed her schooling at a Foundation for Interior Design Education Research (FIDER) accredited program, now known as Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). While in school at California State University, Fresno Brooke won two more awards for her residential designs at the San Francisco Design competition. One was for A Universal Home Design for a single-family, 3,000/sq. ft. home and the other for a Barrier Free Bathroom both for an Americans with Disabilities (ADA)-compliant user.
Brooke began her Interior Design career in San Diego, 2001. Designed with a boutique stone company that sold natural stone and tiles. She graduated to drafting for an engineering firm company for HVAC & plumbing, and then was employed by various large San Diego architectural firms, working on all types of spaces including commercial, tenant improvement, hospitality, medical & residential.
With this background in hand, & her over 20+ years of work experience, Brooke has created her own path. She wants to make a difference in the world, & the spaces she designs to be aesthetically pleasing, create a function, & a purpose for the end user.
When you work with Brooke, you’ll have the full experience of a design professional. She takes the time to get to know her client’s specific needs, desires and dream spaces.
